We invite you to experience screenings of new Nordic shows, talks from international guest speakers and discussions with directors, brands, showrunners, and actors. Let’s get inspired and dig deeper into the field of serial storytelling.

this. 2019 begins with the new series festival in Denmark – this.series.

The audience will meet the industry and get insight into a world they immerse themselves in on a daily basis via various streaming services, social media, and television.

 

The main focus in 2019 is Series for Young Adults. There is a boom in the production of quality series targeted to young adults in the Nordic countries. The young audience is very quality-conscious, and everybody is fighting for their attention. So how do you create serial narratives that properly reach and engage them in 2020?

Studio 1 is the biggest of the two studios belonging to Filmby Aarhus.

Filmby Aarhus is the centre of film and media production in Jutland and houses more than 80 companies working in the digital visual industry. Filmby Aarhus is placed in raw and industrial surroundings at the South Harbor.
