“I can’t take my ears off her” – Benjamin Zephaniah

Hollie McNish is a published UK poet and spoken word artist known for her welcoming, galvanizing, and beautiful poems about motherhood, sex, and feminism. In the words of Kate Tempest, she “writes with honesty, conviction, humour and love. She points out the absurdities we’ve grown too used to and lets us see the world with fresh eyes”.

She is an Arts Foundation Fellow in Spoken Word, has garnered over ten million YouTube views for her online poetry performances, and her album Versus made her the first poet ever to record at London’s famed Abbey Road Studios. In February 2016, her memoir of poetry and parenthood, Nobody Told Me, won the Ted Hughes award, a highly prestigious award given to only one poet each year for New Work in Poetry. Her fans include Robin Ince, Pink, Tim Minchen – and we’re betting you’ll be joining the fan club too.
