Constructive Journalism is becoming a global trend. Ulrik Haagerup covers how to use the theory behind Constructive Journalism when working professionally with other genres of storytelling, e.g. in fiction and branding.
The theory of Constructive Journalism deals with how to communicate solution-oriented news and stories instead of only focusing on stories that are negative and filled with conflicts.
Ulrik has previously held positions as Executive Director of News at Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), Editor-in-chief at NORDJYSKE Media, and Editor-in-chief at Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten. Before that, he was an Investigative Reporter and Senior Managing Editor at Jyllands-Posten.
He also serves as a Member of World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on the Future of Journalism.
