The Future of AI

Stephen Alstrup is an expert in algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI). As Deputy Head at UCPH and as Co-founder of The IT University of Copenhagen, he has been involved in a broad range of research, educational and collaborative activities. In addition, he has published papers at the highest ranked venues in algorithms, being recognized as a world wide leading researcher in Big Data.

Stephen is a board member of Innovation Fund Denmark.

Stephen is also a successful entrepreneur. In 2003 he co-created the company Octoshape. Octoshape started as an idea and became a worldwide organization, dealing with an international C-level with ICT and media industy. Today the company’s sofware is installed in more than 100 million homes.

He is the Co-founder of SupWiz, which delivers next generation AI software for customer service and support. This includes chatbots, ticket routing, email-sorting, knowledge article matching, and much more.
