Jakob Boeskov is a Danish conceptual artist and filmmaker based in New York. His work has been exhibited in museums such as New Museum and Stedelijk Museum, but he is perhaps best known for infiltrating a Chinese weapons fair as a part of his performative ID Sniper project. Another notable project of his is the “Danes for Bush” project where he and Mads Brügger travelled around USA to sarcastically support George W. Bush’s presidential campaign. His movie Empire North won the “Danish: DOX Award” at the 2010 CPH: DOX Film Festival.
